A historic moment for VGC just happened. A 16-0 streak to win their 5th regional (17 if you count the top 16 buy) by Eric Rios and it was a true pleasure to be part of it this weekend with so many talented and wonderful people. Thanks all for watching! #PlayPokemon

Next up for my A-to-Z Mega Madness series... is Mega Audino! This one has SIMPLY surprised me the most so far in how viable it could actually be in Pokémon Champions. Multiple surprises in the full team replica included: youtu.be/5xc1bsVtmoU

After going 4-4 at the Pokémon Seville Special Championship, I somehow finished top 256! Had some terrible matchups, but my play could certainly improve too. Was an honour being the other side of the stream this time! S/O to Jamie Boyt for the extremely Boyt team. #PlayPokemon

For some Regulation Set F VGC draft league content - Check out my Week 3 @vgccasterscup.bsky.social Match vs Pokémon Go Caster Fareed aka Tomahawk_UK! He arguably has one of the scariest Pokémon against my rain team - Archaludon 🌉 Can it be beat? 👇 youtu.be/CJjMRWucWRA

History of #PokemonVGC at NAIC - 2024 Local hero Patrick vs multi-regional runner up Aurélien. In the final game, Patrick expertly lures Aurélien to lock into Choice Specs Tera Starstorm, then positions Pelipper to lock it out of the game with Wide Guard, claiming the title and our hearts. ❤️

History of #PokemonVGC at NAIC - 2023 Alex used Chien Pao's Sword of Ruin ability to lower the defences of Raghav's Pokémon just enough so that Choice Band Tera Ghost Dragapult was getting OHKOs onto everything it hit. So for the first time, an EU region player takes the NAIC title!

History of #PokemonVGC at NAIC - 2022 With the threat of Gastrodon, Gabriel felt Kyogre was not bringable. So with 1 less Restricted to deal with, James was able to trade his Calyrex for Zacian, allowing dynamax Groudon to shine bright in the 2 game set and claim the championship title.

History of #PokemonVGC at NAIC - 2019 Wolfe used an innovative Assault Vest Rayquaza set to take down this scary Medicham team. The Strong Winds, Wide Guard, and his Pokémon's bulk were able to sponge up Kyogre's attacks, stall Lunala's tailwind, and take the set in a convincing 2 games.

History of #PokemonVGC at NAIC - 2018 Jeremy demonstrated the power of immediate offense in this final. Psychic terrain boosted Zen Headbutts from Mega Metagross, Rotom's Electrium-Z, and Life Orb Tapu Lele were too much for Justin's slower-paced team to handle, which won them the set in 2 games! 😮

History of #PokemonVGC at NAIC - 2017 Both finalists' teams made the most of Snorlax's bulk and Gluttony Ability to Recycle its 50% healing berry, set up with Curse, and become this unstoppable force. But Christopher was able to win this mirror with Toxic Arcanine!

This was my main strat in the GC. Was really fun 100% of the time I pulled it off... which was 85% of the time... 🎯 And if you saw my last post, you'll see how satisfying it can get when combined with Disable. Then Cosmic Power Eternatus becomes even easier to set up. 🤩 #PlayPokemon #PokemonGC
