Ohio has obstetric deserts that need services, including fetal ultrasound. Instead the current budget is wasting $2.5 mil on 3D ultrasound machines that will be used for non-medical purposes by non-professionals for cute pictures that discourage abortion. This could have been actual medical care

My favorite fact reading this book: The word “Lumpectomy” started as a derisive joke used by traditional surgeons mocking those who removed only “lumps” rather than the more morbid radial mastectomy. History both proved them wrong & the word later entered medicine’s formal lexicon #MedSky #BookSky
