According to reports, the Pelicans are in serious discussions about Willie Green’s future. My question: What’s to discuss?

The remaining 6 teams averaged 22.5 wins, with a low of 19 and a high of 30. Firing Willie Green is necessary, but the prospects of a turnaround aren’t great.

How bad are the Pelicans this season? The red numbers are every area the Pelicans are WORSE than they were last year. Only Zion and Yves, who’ve both played only 2 games, have a positive +/- and net rating. This team is slower than last season’s team. Everything is bad.

Pelicans fans are done with the relocation talk. “They don’t want to see this team in discussions every year about where they’re going to be long term. They’re tired of it.” The Post Up with David Grubb Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday 🔗: youtu.be/LFmhcNS-8DI?...

Zion being the franchise player isn’t a gift, it’s a responsibility. “If you’re going to make Zion Williamson the centerpiece, he’s got to take on all of that.” The Post Up with David Grubb 🔗: youtu.be/T4XQ3yEjavQ?...

Per historian Jari Honora The new pope has Creole of color roots from New Orleans on his mother's side. His family left New Orleans and went to Chicago between 1910 and 1912. Apparently his grandfather was born in Haiti. So, a lot of history being made.

Most points allowed in franchise history (153). Worst loss in franchise history (49 points). Most 40-point losses in a season (4). Willie Green’s 6th 40-point loss. The Pelicans have 8 total 40-point losses in franchise history. As the Dells sang “Oh, What a Night”

Don’t expect to see Brandon Ingram on the court anytime soon. This is a major injury with a recovery time of several weeks up to 6 months. It isn’t hyperbolic to suggest that we may have seen the last of Brandon Ingram in a Pelicans uniform.
