Some unexpected entertainment in the neighbourhood today. The city just installed the first of 4 speed bumps on our street. It is (currently) unmarked. To the unprepared, it looks like a shadow from an adjacent tree. Many vehicles hitting it at full speed. Badoom.

Libraries aren't just places for books. They're one of the few remaining free public gathering spots. Community events, workshops, some have social service offices in them. It's not just books. And they run on next to nothing of a budget. Amazing bang for buck.
