I'd like to create my own vampire, a unique and in her own story. Struggling to understand, existing between life and death, losing all kinds of details while becoming more purely herself. #vampire #writing #gothic #playwriting

dai.ly/x9nii7c Carmilla: The Radio Play was produced three years ago, and while the sound is of mixed quality, the performances remain IMHO excellent. We strove to make this as compelling and as erotic as possible. #vampire #audio #LGBTQ #adaptation #playwright #gothic

Am absolutely thrilled to announce the Post Meridian Players in MA will produce the premiere of my audio drama WAR OF THE WORLDS based on the novel by H.G.Wells. #livetheatre #playwriting #adaptation #topical #postmeridianplayers #boston #sciencefiction #playwright #waroftheworlds

Very pleased with this adaptation of H.G.Wells' novel. Under consideration for production in Oct! Wish me luck! Apart from making women prominent, this deals with more current affairs. #radio #waroftheworlds #adaptation #theatre #playwright #martians #scifi newplayexchange.org/script/27302...

I am intensely proud of this, my second adaptation of Le Fanu's "Carmilla" newplayexchange.org/script/20269... #playwright #theater #playwriting #theatre #writing #writingcommunity #writer #dramaturgy #dramaturg #writers #writerscommunity

One of my most topical, albeit subtly so, plays. About a (maybe) cursed violin and viola but really about judging others, oneself, and about paranoia. #playwright #theater #playwriting #theatre #writing #writingcommunity #writer #dramaturgy #dramaturg #writers #writerscommunity #violins #lovestory

Submitted a short play of Lovecraftian horror to a contest today. Wish me luck! newplayexchange.org/script/27115... #theatre #horror #tenminuteplay #lovecraft #playwright #playwriting #playwrightsonbluesky

One of my favorite one act plays, a 45 minute play in verse re-telling re-imagining the myth of Medusa, entwining it with bits from Persephone. #medusa #livetheatre #oneactplay #playwright #playwriting #theatre #iambicpentameter #LGBTQ newplayexchange.org/script/20352...

I want so much to make more public my best plays, which I think are quite topical. One of my faves is AFTER THE LIGHTHOUSE FELL. #playwrights #playwriting #theatre #theater #drama #fourcharacters #oneset #chekhov

Intended essentially as a "live" radio show on stage, my WOTW deals with a lot of modern issues, but so far only one person (in FL) complained. Nothing like Orson Wells' 1938 version! #audio #hgwells #radioshow #waroftheworlds #theatre #playwright #adaptation newplayexchange.org/script/27302...

Mock poster, similar to a silent movie version, of WAR OF THE WORLDS showing a Martian tripod war machine with three legs and dangling tentacles.

A play of which I am very, very proud. Have been submitting it to folks for a decade now. I do understand. It is a difficult play. Personally I suspect my "brand" will need to be far more prominent before anyone takes a chance. #playwright #stageplay newplayexchange.org/script/20270...

Am gaining details for my upcoming (no idea how long that means) play THE LAST BRIDE OF DRACULA. Part of that is taking elements that should and do disturb, then make it somehow even worse, even more disturbing. #dracula #vampires #gothic #stageplay #victorian

I am contemplating/making notes for a sequel to Bram Stoker's novel. This would be a stage play tentatively titled THE LAST BRIDE OF DRACULA. #vampire #dracula #bride #theatre #playwright #gothic #adaptation
