A judge blocked it and the administration just rescinded it, but the damage is done. The locality has a budget and priorities and there is no way they are committing $5 million unless they know for damn sure that $ is coming. Just pointless incompetence without the slightest regard for anyone.

I'm on the board of our local Habitat affiliate. Been working on a 22-home development in partnership with the local gov for 2 years. Getting ready to break ground on infrastructure, but it's grant dependent. All gone. 22 families who could have had safe, affordable, permanent homes.
