I liked how they wrote it for Spock and McCoy and didn’t change it much when they became Scotty and Chekov “Is there something wrong with your chair?” Is a very Spock like line

I had an episode of my podcast a few weeks back where we looked at CBeebies and I was very impressed at how mature some of the storytelling was in the programmes we watched. And some of them were genuinely funny as well

I’ve never seen Star Trek Scouts but have no issue with it existing and if the kids it’s aimed at enjoy it, then that’s a win! Same with this DW one. It’s not for me and I can live with that. Fans like me have to accept that TV habits have changed and this is a new way to bring the kids in

And with The Execution that’s the final episode of Secret Army. We’ll be watching the unbroadcast finale and Kessler in due course but officially that’s the end. Such a bloody good show and one that improves with each series the main cast are superb, especially Angela Richards in the final series

The Walking Dead started really well and I stuck with it for ages but when everyone gets a gory death you stop caring about any of the characters and it just becomes relentless brutality. Also it became quite dull

Not getting full HD remasters of DS9 and Voyager is such a shame. The DVDs seem to be quite cheap these days and we could do with digging them out as the streamers are so unreliable these days (edited episodes, dodgy audio on some and episodes missing)

It was all a bit weird. We got seasons 1 to 3 including Best of Both Worlds 1. We got part 2 the following week and then an 18 month or so break. Then when season 4 came back it was only about half a season before another break… DS9 has a break mid season 2 as well

Absolutely! DS9 is my favourite of the 90s Trek series and has one of the strongest opening seasons with a couple of absolute classics very early on
