Tranmere Rovers v Blackpool Pre Season Friendly 18/07/26 Not really been into friendlies at the moment but for the sake of a tenner I thought it was worth checking out and I was made up I went in the end as Tranmere put in a really decent performance,

St Helens v Toulouse Olympique Super League Round 18 12/06/26 A total shitshow from the Saints by far the worse display I’ve seen from them and that’s including the cup semi v Wigan,

Yesterday was an outstanding day at the second day of Rugby League’s magic weekend. Three games were played in one day with brilliant rugby. The matches were Wakefield v Castleford, Leeds v Bradford and Wigan v St Helens. The Saints lost but it didn’t dampen the overall great day.

St Helens v Warrington Wolves Super League 11-06-26 Another second half collapse by Saints, after leading for most of the first half, Warrington to be honest deserved it Saints never showed up second half and failed to add to the points tally, a really disappointing evening at the Brew Dog Stadium

David Blackwood @davidjb1965.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

hopefully next season there will be an improvement, Today’s game was a non event as far as the team were concerned they looked like they had already packed the bags and were heading to the beach, very disappointing end to our first season at the Hill Dicky

David Blackwood @davidjb1965.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Everton v Sunderland EPL 17/05/26 A that’s our first season at the Hill Dicky completed 6 wins 5 draws and 8 defeats plus a win and a draw (lost on pens) in cup competition Not great stats, but with every club moving to a new stadium there’s always teething problems

St Helens v Wigan Warriors Challenge Cup Semi final 09/05/26 Very disappointing day for Saints today, first time I’ve been to a game in which they failed to score a single point, The road to Wembley ended at the Halliwell Jones for the second year running,

010

David Blackwood @davidjb1965.bsky.social · 05/05/2026

after making it 3.1, then for the 3rd game running we conceded an injury time goal and the game finished 3.3, those injury time goals have cost us 4 points, gutted we just couldn’t hang on for another 30 seconds,

David Blackwood @davidjb1965.bsky.social · 05/05/2026

Everton v Manchester City EPL 04/05/26 Before the game I’d of taken a draw all day, after the game I was gutted we drew, A great second half saw us come from behind at HT to net 3 times, and look in a strong position but a lack of attention allowed City back in straight

Tranmere Rovers v Grimsby Town EFL League Two 02/05/26 Att: 11,141 The end of a embarrassing season which yielded just 4 home wins all season, Yes relieved we stayed up…only just but frustrated at the way the whole season panned out, Nothing to celebrate just relieved,
