Those look awesome as always. I finally got off my arse and used a half version of your French loaf recipe and made bread for the first time ever. I Needs some work on my yeast, bit inactive, wrong water temp. But it's tasty and came out not bad for a first attempt. Butter and fresh strawb 😋

So I have finally after multiple attempts got my perfect shortbread down, the way I like it. Shortbread can have a caramel component so I've used maple and vanilla and instead of plain flour I've used self rising. It does make it flakier and lighter. Had compliments from chef friend. #food #baking
