We need a new rule. If a player is allergic to grass and makes it to the final of Wimbledon - commentators must not be allowed to mention it more than five times per hour.

Good to have clarity on the rules here. There’s a lot you can’t do. But equally a nice place for a run or walk

When you’re really very excited about your next adventure - but not sure where you put the lead so you need someone to get it for you.

You can use your smartphone while walking - but only if you can walk at the same speed as if you aren’t. There should be a test.

A busy week this week - but got through it #StickingToThePlan

All about having the right ‘rules’ and approaches in place at the start with any visit. They don’t need to be shouted, just clear. For example ‘don’t touch’, ‘don’t sit on the furniture’ Reminded of that this week when visiting somewhere that got it exactly right, clarity and manners.

A great decision making flow chart here. Particularly enjoy the route to ‘sounds like you better do it’ - so often the case!

Sometimes the instructions might not make sense but you really do need to just follow them. Thoughtless not to.

Interesting week learning about new governance structures. As always it’s about clear lines of accountability, good communications and the ability to be flexible at times

In a world of madness good to feel like in some ways everything is exactly in its place. And therefore easy to pick up when needed - except my glasses, always.

Thinking the sertraline must be working because my lackadaisical approach to which tablet to take which day isn’t triggering me. Or maybe it’s time travel
Blister pack of tablets, each day is labelled and I think I should be going Monday to Sunday but I’ve taken Friday, Tuesday, Monday and Sunday so far. This is not down to time travel

Personally I’d be looking happier even if I was being given the bowl on the floor rather than at the table - sometimes an owner just can’t catch the breaks

Amazing to be named among ‘UK's best places to live that tourists mispronounce but is obvious to those who live there’ Niche, but maybe easier to win than Britain in Bloom. It’s Ewell, since you ask.

Latest book book complete. This one was a birthday present. Lovely to do and nice to ignore the real world for a little.
A book nook. Nestled in between a load of books on British Prime Ministers and elections (I can’t help it, I’m always fascinated). Photo of the lake near me, which we walk around daily. Winter trees, grey blue sky and quite a brown lake given the recent rain
