Yeah, the history is really interesting! (A few other streets like that in the area too) But it does create a dead zone between areas, which is too bad

This is a very good stretch of garage murals, making the most of a poorly planned street (garages backing onto Dundas!)

A university professor should know the power and value of words, and to use them with care. Disappointing from anyone, but especially considering the source.

The contrast between the potential devastation in Iran and Artemis exploration is striking. On the one hand there is the threat of civilizational annihilation, driven by hubris and ego. On the other is a perspective of shared humanity that inspires awe and humility. I know what I choose.

When a betting app makes huge margins on a given type of bet, like same-game sports parlays, you are almost certainly not the special little boy who can beat them at their game. If it provides a little thrill to watch a game with a parlay, ok, but do not see it as a means to pay bills. It won't.

Also very important to learn the framework of +EV/-EV. The overwhelming majority of sports game betting lines are set *really well* and are not beatable in the long-term, especially for casual followers. That's -EV (expected value)

In a previous life I played lots of poker, and was pretty good at it and profitable. Some important lessons from that experience that deserve coverage in this story: Everyone who gambles, even as a minor hobby, should start by learning about proper bankroll management. Number one problem, by far

Lots to recommend in this story, as it offers a good look at common gambling pitfalls that are now really common when there's a casino in everyone's pocket, and policies and regulations can't keep up

It's one thing to have a verbal flub or be confused about what the next item is -- these things can happen in broadcast news. The more egregious issue here is only presenting the POV of the administration for Sen. Kelly's demotion, not giving him the space to respond to "seditious" allegations.
