Self Portrait 63, 2025 So I’m a few months into 63 and it’s interesting the way some changes have occurred and also how I’m not experiencing a lot of the issues my friends deal with. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time. I’m probably the most content and happy that I can remember. A good place to be.

Royce in His Bathroom, 2024 @roycesoble.bsky.social Sometimes pictures don’t make sense when creating them and then later on they do. Bathrooms have become an unsafe space for many people and now we have legislation about who can and can’t use a bathroom. It’s all so dystopian and hate/fear-filled.

Last year I had the privilege of accompanying and photographing the Episcopal Divinity School staff and a group of clergy on a pilgrimage from Atlanta to Montgomery to Selma. Bishop Budde was part of that group. She is through and through the person you have seen in the video clips of her.
