On my lunch hour I had another little go at Cotton Wool, density + displacement maps, and a bit of maths etc. Bit too silky, not quite enough disruption as yet.

Finally getting down to actually understanding the maths behind height maps. Avoided it for years but the time has come. Also, trying to rid myself of all adobe poison so learning Da Vinci Resolve workarounds. Here's a bad thing I made as a test because the colour spaces are different. ENJOY.

Some cool news I'd forgotten to post. My new show, These Lanes I Watch Into The Fog, will be a collaboration with internationally acclaimed composer and Mercury Prize nominated musician Peter Brewis of Field Music. Its cool. Super happy to be working with someone I hugely admire.
