Had the privilege to come across this Roesel's bush cricket when it landed near to me and allowed me to get down and in nose-to-nose position on one of my recent walks and it stayed around to let me grab these images. #wildlifephotography #crickets #macrophotography #naturephotography

I've been slack posting any butterflies and insects so here's a small selection from some of my recent jollies along Berks and Oxon. All taken on my Nikon D500 using the Nikkor 40mm lens. (1-2) Common Blue (3) Small Copper (4) Ringlet #wildlifephotography #butterflies #macrophotography

Another check up on the Kingfishers along the Kennet and Avon canal. I've started to work out their routine and have several perches after leaving or entering their burrow. Hopefully this will continue through the summer. #birdphotography #wildlifephotography #naturephotography #birds #kingfisher

Some of the Red kite activity up on beacon Hill (Burghclere / Highclere) yesterday. Always a great spot for kite photography and a lovely spot to enjoy the views, along with a large assortment of various feathery friends. #birdphotography #birds #wildlifephotography #naturephotography #redkite

From today's stroll around South Stoke (oxon) Then these two chaps came bounding across the field, gave me a good look over. (it'd me rude not to grab a few images). Lovely encounter in the early morning sunshine. #wildlifephotography #naturephotography #roedeer

A quick jolly to check where I spotted a kingfisher in the area last week. Seems there's a pair there now and a burrow, so something to keep an eye on all through the summer. Forgot to take the 2x convertor this morning DOH! #birdphotography #birds #wildlifephotography #naturephotography #kingfisher

Another stroll along the Kennet and Avon canal, spotted this Kingfisher, which looks like it has created a burrow - hopefully this will be worth watching through the summer - then it kindly stopped for a one off photograph. #birds #birdphotography #wildlifephotogrphy #naturephotography #kingfisher

'Tis the season of the floofiness overload! A bunch of seven Egyptian goslings out in the sunshine along the Thames this morning. Judging by size and fluff I'd say only a couple days since hatching. 😍🥰 #birds #birdphotography #wildlifephotogrphy #naturephotography

Finally nice to see a variety of butterflies along the hedgerows along the Ridgeway yesterday. It's still disturbing the lack of the numbers of them (and in particular the lack bees and other pollinators) in general. (1) Small heath (2) Ringlet (3) Large white (4) Gatekeeper. #wildlifephotography

I was up on the Ridgeway today. First dry day in ages. Plenty of Skylarks were up high and heralding the approaching Spring, they wouldn't pose. So here's a female Roe deer leaping into Spring. 🦌(taken in January and not along the Ridgeway). #wildlifephotography #roedeer #deerphotography #wildlife
