I'm seeing some maps being shared, so here is mine. (source: tenpages.github.io/us-level/eu....) I'm not sure what is the difference between "stayed" "visited" and "stopped" so I chose "stayed" for more than a day, "visited" for a day trip, and stopped for US road trips, so "does not apply."

#SetouchiTriennale update: Tonight, two ferries were running from #Naoshima to Takamatsu. The "Seto" and the "Naoshima" (that's the ferry's name). It's true that I hadn't seen the latter in a little while. Did it have a technical problem? No idea. Anyway ⤵️

In our series #JapanHatesNature today, on campus, some trees were found guilty of having branches providing shade to the road below. They were punished accordingly. Also, some grass was found growing illegally in the garden. For this the punishment is capital. #Japan #LifeInJapan

I love this picture that I took yesterday by chance. Black Kites love to bully #crows in winter, when it's windy and they control the skies. But in the spring, crows take their revenge, and don't you dare even flying high above a nest or you're going to get a beating, crow-style. #birds

A crow and a black kite fighting in the sky. The black kite seems upside down (it's not really, it's because of the angle I took the picture, as they were above me) and because we're in Japan, there are utility cables crossing the picture, but here, they're framing the birds in an interesting way.

I got to spend some nice quiet time with Mr Crow this evening after work. Not long enough, there's always someone showing up sooner or later, but that was nice and the first time in a while (if only he was okay with chilling on my balcony with me, but he's not). #crows #birds #corvids

Mr Crow collecting bits of peanuts from the ground and storing them in his "throat pouch" (I'm not sure of the exact name) so that he can hide them later, they're probably from the hatchlings.

Have a good weekend, y'all. I'm not sure you can see it on the picture, but tonight there were not one but two ferries returning from Naoshima (and one freaking cruise ship). The first day of the Setouchi Triennale 2025 must have been crazy over there. #Weekend #SetoInlandSea

Seto Inland Sea, late afternoon. One can see Megijima, Yashima, parts of Takamatsu Port with a cruise ship (I hope it burns in the middle of the ocean). There are two Naoshima ferries too, but they're hard to spot if you don't know them.
