A new ESRI report says that people are overestimating the number of migrants here. This does not take away from the simple fact that we have a very high immigration rate by EU standards.

The Church put the reputation of priests ahead of child protection. The British State put the reputation of certain minorities (see Rochdale etc) ahead of child protection.

None of the three leaders went into last night's debate with any momentum behind them. They all seemed pretty tired, worn out and essentially going through the motions. A very passionless election.
