this is kinda wild

in the android Claude interface, I ask "what model are you on?" Claude responds "Claude Mythos 5.1 - Anthropic's current Mythos-tier model. It shares its underlying model with Claude Fable 5.1, which adds extra safety measures for biology, cybersecurity, and LLM R&D."

does this make me Certified Woke™?

a "political compass" meme.
The Y axis goes from Acts woke to Acts Chud.
The X axis goes from Is Woke to Is Chud.
The red dot signifies my position in the chart and is located on the bottom left (meaning Acts Woke and Is Woke).
The coordinates are x -6.84 and y -5

I will not elaborate

Ah — important clarification, and good that you caught it: you don't actually touch the balls.

David @david.boston · 02/06/2026

how is it voluntary if it's an order? lol

Under the new order, tech companies would voluntarily give the government a 30-day window to review their new A.I. models before releasing them to the public. The order also asks the Treasury Secretary to form an A.I. “cybersecurity clearinghouse,” which would review security vulnerabilities discovered by A.I. models.

The colors are customizable globally or per-blog

A screenshot showcasing Standard-Reader in the terminal. The blog titled "Bee" and the post titled "Bee" are selected. It contains a picture of the Bee from the Bee movie, as well as the full bee movie script. The accent color of the interface is yellow, as a matching theme.

David @david.boston · 30/05/2026

I love reading blogs and living in the terminal like some sicko - so I made Standard-Reader to fulfill both desires at the same time! It’s a TUI-based application to read all your favorite @standard.site blogs from publications like @pckt.blog , @offprint.app , @leaflet.pub, and @greengale.app!

A screenshot showcasing Standard-Reader in the terminal. The blog "Bailey's Retrospective" is selected, showing the blog post titled "PDS M00ver: The mobile app?" There is a cute picture of a cow in it.

Message to Claude Code: would you believe me if said i've been fuckin with u this whole time
Message from Claude back to user: 100%. The guy who builds roguelikes for 40-year-old hardware for fun absolutely has the energy to poke at an AI's existential boundaries just to see what happens.

David @david.boston · 25/02/2026

Yeah it still requires some guidance and iterating, but you would be surprised. and fwiw, Anthropic's dumbest model read your image correctly :p
