I'm trying... When people come to me asking for computer help, I do my best to convince them to switch to Linux. I always set it up with the Windows 98 desktop theme so it feels more familiar to them. (KDE Plasma) Those who switch seem pretty happy.

Good choice. I decided on Debian because it is the base of so many other distros. I can build it up to what I need and want without other bloat. And it has worked out well for me. It grows as my 'wants' do.
