Studytober Day 7: Legs Sometimes I feel like I'm not learning a whole lot when I do these and not in a good way lmao. Guess it's just a consequence of doing a bunch of 2 minute gestures of a specific thing for 30 minutes each day. It'll click eventually. #D:AW #webcomic #art #OCsky #oc #promptober

Studytober Day 6: Tum Not a whole lot this time around but I do like the pregnant one lmao #D:AW #webcomic #art #OCsky #oc #promptober

Studytober Day 5: Arms This one was a bunch of 2 minute figure studies, mostly focused on the upper body and, primarily, well, the arms #D:AW #webcomic #art #OCsky #oc #promptober

Studytober Day 3: Butts This one was a little bet more freeform lmao, trying to get down the vague form of a butt shape. Thankfully I have a few more prompts down the line that'll force me to reckon with the booty again. #D:AW #webcomic #art #OCsky #oc #promptober

This #promptober I decided to do some artistic studies on various body parts to try and improve my game all around, a quick half hour devoted solely to trying to fill a canvas with as many things as humanly possible, chosen at random by wheelspin Today's spin: beaks #D:AW #webcomic #art #OCsky #oc

A collection of bird faces and bird beaks, including some genuine attempts at front-facing beaks

Lissa struts down a spooky forest, wearing the distinctive swimsuit-esque costume of pulp comic horror heroine Vampirella. Her suspiciously sharp teeth are suspiciously bloodied.

Little of both? The way I have it planned, it kicks off the 10th anniversary but the actual 10th anniversary strip is about a month after that arc ends.

100

David A Webcomic @david-a-webcomic.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

It was a complete accident lmao, I initially designed the kids at specific ages and was like "David and Grace are in their mid-30s here" and I realized that if their oldest was 10 at her initial design, the ideal time for the two of them to have her is when they're 26... in 2028, the strip's 10th

100

David A Webcomic @david-a-webcomic.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

In fact, David and Grace having their first kid is set to line up with the strip's own 10th anniversary, which is only two years out.

100

David A Webcomic @david-a-webcomic.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Not this arc, no, though this arc does set up a few individual character arcs that'll be explored throughout the next few years. It's actually the last arc that sets up stuff for the next decade-plus, because as David and Grace have now gotten married, they can then start having kids.

100

David A Webcomic @david-a-webcomic.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Just the arc, I honestly have no plans to actually end the series and quite frankly don't know how I would lmao, I have future storyline plans that would only occur at least 10 years in the future

Martin and Toby sit on the couch in the Monroe family living room.
Martin: Look, all I'm saying is, get into the right summer training camp and you'll be a helluva Grassmore C. University quarterback, kid.
Toby: Actually, Mr. M, I'm in on a soccer scholarship.
I'll think about it though!
