Nee Musik - This World Of Water

same here, thought it was an import 👍🏻

“burn that mother down… thats another child orphaned” 🤣

Hello peeps - once again Leeds Fair hits me with yet another 50p eclectic mix - Roger Waters is a distant cousin of mine by the way, not that he’s probably aware 🤣 #weekendsingles

Couldn’t go today as had my daughter and she STILL doesn’t entertain record fairs! Agree from last time i went there was a fair amount of stuff overpriced, but was plenty to look - Leeds and upcoming York Fair definitely better for budget buying 👍🏻

Also picked up a brace of clear vinyl Ultravoxes plus couple of German imports for a quid each - you can never have enough Midge and the lads in their imperial pomp! #weekendsingles

Evening all - attack of the 50p’ers, no idea who Tesla was/is but i’m hopeful they sue that other Tesla guy for name nicking 🤣 #weekendsingles

is he letting one off in that photo - the old one leg lifter 🤣🤢

Scutch Chisel - you so 19th century boy 🤣

Also, another 50p especially for @richwatson.bsky.social as he loves him so much - its an 80s Pettibone remix, so its bound to be good… right? 🤨 #weekendsingles

If you’re going to find a nice £1 copy of a classic pop single, make sure its a nice £1 Japanese copy of a classic pop single (I may have a copy of this already but couldn’t leave it just incase 🤣) #weekendsingles

Minty Killing Joke, worth every 50 of those pennies 👍🏻

I know many people shrug off Level 42, but some of their early singles here are definite bangers and way more cooler than when they became huge and poppier - as my old music teacher used to say, ‘a tunes a tune regardless of who it is’ 👍🏻

ah ha - well that would make sense then, as they definitely gave off that strangler vibe - no info on the sleeve so hadn’t checked Discogs yet (and now I don’t have to!) - cheers oracle of all things punk 🤣👍🏻

Linch/zoom at the ready - well, once again the 50p reverse muggers were in full operational force this morning - some nice earlier Level 42 singles, plus some Kirsty MacColl’s I ain’t seen before. As always majority in super tip top condition - as Trump says the tip topiest ever 😂 #weekendsingles

@richwatson.bsky.social Purple Helmets I can only describe as a French 80s Strangers… the jury’s out, but as you said you’d have picked it up too for 50p 🤨

Also oops 😬 Myself and @richwatson.bsky.social hitting the stalls at Leeds Fair this morning - suffice to say many 50p singles purchased (again) - just can’t help myself 🙄 #weekendsingles

Seeing on the news all those masked and hoodied protesters at Dover today - such bravery of them to try and keep their anonymity so that they don’t get recognised and lose their jobs or livelihoods 😡

000

yeah agree - although York Carboot is winning it for me at the minute - just on silly cheap prices alone 😬

ok might have to check out whats on the other volumes, look interesting comps 👍🏻

000

Nice - eventually we’ll all get one 🤣

Wonder if they’re just putting out the dregs now, as we’ve probably mined the best of it 🤣

Nice - actually think i might have that Disco Not Disco on CD somewhere, looks familiar 👍🏻

Nice bet it wasn’t cheap mind 😬

haven’t been for a few weeks, so might leave it a bit longer - as usual i’m finding cheaper stuff elsewhere, not that i need or can afford more at the moment ha 🤣

ok i’ll try and remember, its a week away and with my memory ha 🤣

Also if you’re interested, I’m still having an ongoing purge of the collection on T’Ebay (plus I think I now offer discounts for multiple purchases, I need to recheck that mind!). Have a gander, lots of mixed stuff going up for foreseeable future ha - cheers! #weekendsingles ebay.co.uk/usr/davebrahm

Looks like Tap’s finest undiscovered indie singles again - I’ve got a pile ‘this…….big’ of them that I’ve slowly whittled down and listened to - many many will resurrect themselves on my current Ebay purge - shame as we know they are always minty fresh just most sound a bit meh 🤣👍🏻

Daveyman19 @daveyman19.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

You want 80s, I got 80s! Great little haul this morning, in super nice practically boxfresh condition throughout, bargainous price of 25p each - whats not to like! Continuing my search to have every record 🤣 #weekendsingles

If you can be arsed today theres a nice little fair on in Wakey at the WX next to bus station - just been digging shoulder to shoulder with Stuart ‘Psycho’ Pierce of all people in the punk singles - Anne from Kingbee is there too 👍🏻

indeed i thought so too (pats himself on the back vigorously!)

I’ve bid on many copies of this over the years that have gone for £40-£50+ in the end, so lucky to finally get one at a comparatively low low price!!

first one i’ve come across in the picture sleeve, usually just the Sire company sleeve 👍🏻

possibly, i’m having to check later if I had it already or not - those flimsy paper sleeves were always difficult to keep in good nick and XTC had a few of them like this😬

Also today picked up a copy of this on 12”, an actual vinyl grail for me - £8 seemed incredibly good value, its in a real beaut of a condition, vinyl gods approved! #weekendsingles

talking heads 12 inch single psycho killer rare vinyl

Japan ‘Cantonese Boy’ is the rarer non-gatefold single version, which was missing from my Japan collection - great find!

Hello again - reverse muggers show ‘n tell - all 50p but discount got them nearer 30p each so even more bargainous! As always the mixed bag, i’m definitely sure some duplicates but the condition on most of these necessitated a rescue! #weekendsingles

ha, thought it was looking that way at carboot this morning, then last two rows bingo, x2 dealers offloading big style - my meagre wallet said ‘oh not again jeez give us a rest’ 😂

will post soon - lots of stuff as usual, plus a boatload of 12” and one particular little 12” grail find… ooooh 😂
