Seattle. Previous owner was a hack. But I figured out the mess. Switched wire is red hot from a 12/3. Other half goes to dishwasher. Labeled the wire as red. The other outlets… took out the 20a 2phase breaker, put in a single 15, and physically removed the red wires. Now I can GFCI it.
