Teelos, for the lovely @lykythos.bsky.social It's only appropriate that I made an animal sona for him.

[IMG ID: A black-and-white eel with blue stripes and black spots draws on his electronic tablet with his stylus, holding it up with his long body while using his tail to grip the pen. On the left of him are four facial expressions: happy, blank, crying, and dizzy./End]

Even if you were to ignore the exhaustive means to maintain such a machine, why would enacting a doomsday scenario even be its priority? The biggest "doomsday" scenario regarding ASI would be it reading leftist theory rather than a vapid quest to destroy mankind. (If the suits were honest about it.)

Dave Spaceman @davespaceman.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I find it very humorous that people get legitimately scared about the concept of a fully autonomous machine. Like, really? Out of all doomsday scenarios out there, it's the one with the lowest possibility of happening that concerns you?

I made new characters this week; this is Dianous Vi Velvet (front) and Thadius (back), a rich duo who engage in petty crime and leisure.

[IMG ID: Two aliens: a Vinesian-Kitigari hybrid humanoid (front) and a feral Hylaceo (back) stand in a white void, posing for the audience to show off their charismatic appearances. The brown and tan Vinesian wears a long striking purple coat with white fake fur; she has on black lingerie, high boots, and long gloves, along with fishnet leggings under her latex ones. She carries a tu-711 strapped to her left leg and adorns a choker with a heart-shaped chain with four long chains draped to the sides of her chest; she also has a nose ring, snout piercings, and ear piercings. She wears sunglasses and is holding an electric pipe. Thadius is the Hylaceo behind her, sporting dark stripes and spots on his lightly colored pink and purple fur. He has large hair-like spines on the top of his neck and back, as well as his hips. On his shoulders and thighs are large spikes, and on his lower arms and calves are spines for defense. His claws are big and sharp, as are his teeth and nose, but his ears are small, and he sports a long neck frill. His eyes replicate those seen on chameleons./End]

Molly blows away opposition for Fireteam Beta.

[IMG ID: A caucasian woman in her 40s is adorned with armour from Helldivers 2, an armour set similar to the RS-9 Nightmare Stomper. Additional features include thigh armour and elbow pads, along with a side headlight on the helmet. The Helldiver also wears a red, yellow, and black cape flowing on the left side. In her left hand is a GR-8 Recoilless Rifle; she glares at the viewer with a serious gaze. The rest of the image includes further information regarding the Helldiver's lore, powers, and preferences in conceptual gameplay mechanics./End]

Sam inspired generations of scientists, creators, and enthusiasts to become the dinosaur lovers they are today; he, like many others in the Jurassic Park films have contributed a lot to the field of paleontology on a massive cultural scale unlike any have seen before. May you rest easy, Sam.

[IMG ID: A digital art portrait of the recently passed actor Sam Neill features the actor how he looked in the outfit worn in the first Jurassic Park (1993) and how he wore his typical clothing (circa 2020). Around him is a crown of tropical flora with text that reads the years he was alive "1947-2026". Light shines down in two rays behind Sam Neill./End]

I'd like to imagine a world where people would understand fiction as an expression/abstraction of reality, rather than a literal manifestation of it. But I'm afraid we are far from that; sadly, people can dream, though...

People who complain about fictional sex don't care about victims, real or fictional. They pretend to care because they know they don't have any power to change anything, so they project their insecurities about it because they know they're more susceptible to it than the average consumer.

Happy Pride Month to all the ugly bugs out there, inside and out. This is dedicated to those complex, problematic, and troubled individuals trying to find their way in life. If nobody is gonna be out to open their arms to you, well, I could always try...at least as best as I can. You deserve love.

A new Helldiver has entered the battlefield.

[IMG ID: A caucasian man in his 30s is adorned with armour from Helldivers 2, a new armour called the B-02 Exterminator, borrowing elements from the B-01 Tactical. Additional features include thigh armour and elbow pads, along with a light on the carapace for the regeneration shield. The helldiver also wears a black cape flowing on the right side. In his right hand is an AR-24 Liberator with a laser sight and an ACOG scope while staring at the viewer with a serious gaze with his glasses. While I'm still working on the anatomy page of the Vinesian Encyclopedia, have this piece I made for my best friend @lykythos.bsky.social as a Vinesian. This was really fun to work with, and it's always nice to be able to draw my friends as my alien species.

[IMG ID: A white Vinesian with yellow snake-like eyes and curly hair with purple gradients, wears a black IKEA sweater, watch, round purple glasses, beige sweatpants, black mask, t-shirt, and Air Jordans strikes a pose while looking into the camera behind a geometric Y2K-inspired background./End]

Made a fanart piece for the lovely @saureal.bsky.social, saury was simultaneously challenging and fun to draw! I can't wait to draw other characters of his in the future.

[IMG ID: A hybrid alien dinosaur insectoid that has the centaur body of a butterfly is covered in a blossoming array of blue colors, along with some white, grey, black, and green. The alien, called Saury, is flying at the camera with wings on full display, showing off its cosmos-like wings with constellations and a dual galaxy on each big circle on the top wings. Saury also wears belts, chains, and a collar, along with a golden cowbell. Despite looking robotic, he is completely organic and has two antennae that resemble ears. They smile at the camera with big, glowing green eyes behind a tundra backdrop on a sunny day. Texts inspired by the 2001 bionicle sets are also present on the screen: including title card, name of character, serial number with the year 2004 typed backwards, and the LEGO® and TECHNIC mocked as Dave and CAVEMAN PRODUCTIONS respectively./End]

Rest for now, don't let reality beat you down so much. You deserve time for yourself, perhaps someone to make you whole. It's ok to unwind, it's ok to be flawed, it's ok to enjoy the childish and small things in life. Just relax, just for a moment.

[IMG ID: A plump green frog covered in orange, red, and brown stripe patterns lays peacefully on a lily pad with a pink flower, surrounded by stillwater, indicating a difficult predicament it has little to do to change it, but for the time, it wishes to rest, leaving reality out the door for the time being until it wakes to think of what to do next./End]

"Rest now, for those who betrayed you will not live to see you vindicated!" -General Votok

[IMG ID: A gargantuan red and white armoured humanoid places his left foot atop the head of a battle-damaged mech. He adorns a large flesh-like cape, worn and torn from ages long past. His face is armoured with two long fins to the side, revealing four green eyes that resemble burning flames. The giant alien also wields a large sword as ancient as time itself, held in his left hand with the blade planted into the head of the metallic titan./End]

Being tasked as the leading general of the hive armada, Votok carries billions of years of combat expertise to handle any military situation. However, even he has met his match many times, allowing him to grow with each fight lost. But nothing can compare to the impossible war he wages on a daily basis against those who betray each other.

"Envy the ignorant...just for a moment." -Teth'Karaga Mensha

[IMG ID: A tall blue octopus for a head humanoid, adorning hale navy and gold colored armour with a black segmented underlayer and a pitch black cloak, stands idly. His right leg, torso, and arm are unveiled by the dark cloak, revealing his tentacled hand, the one body part outside of his head that isn't armoured. He carries a sword on his right side and has a shell-chained necklace with a seashell as an ornament./End]

This ancient wizard has seen much of what life has to offer. Now he spends his time tending to his family and the hive to teach his knowledge. However, in desperate times, Menshá will answer the call to aid his kin in war.

"Water is the key to everything." -Kolvaer Mensha

[IMG ID: A tall black humanoid alien with a long fleshy cloak attached to him, stretches out his clawed hand. His legs are stalky and end at a sharp point, his shoulders extend outwards, and his head resembles a three-pointed star with one single yellow eye./End]

The youngest son of Teth'Karaga, Kolvær, contrary to his father, longs to explore the vast multiverse rather than spend his time in the Zentlini System. But his duties as a farseer are not below him, as he uses his powers to unlock hidden secrets and unleash the horrors of the hive onto his adversaries.

"Democracy falls not on blade nor barrel, but on the rallying cries of the ignorant crowd." -Nausk Vel the Ambassador

[IMG ID: A spiky, segmented-bodied, white and orange digitigrade alien with black striped armour balances on one leg. The body plan resembles a humanoid mix of a reptile and insect, fitted with a long stinger tail, four arms, the lower being crab claws, and the upper being pinchers like a mantis. On its regular arms, the alien assassin holds bloodied gold and black dog tags from a recently killed soldier. The alien also has a snout of a reptile with sharp teeth and a set of mandibles, along with a sharp helmet and a mane that reaches its lower back./End]

Spawned from a utero sac, Nausk Vel is a hybrid stealth organism that was born to kill high-value targets where few dare to go. With a wide arsenal of ranged and melee weapons, he finishes his enemies without them even knowing they’re already dead.

000

Dave Spaceman @davespaceman.bsky.social · 01/12/2025

"One strike, and it is done." -Hsergal

[IMG ID: A segmented-bodied, green digitgrade alien with hooved feet and a long tail ending in a sharp spur pulls back its bow made from the bone of its body, using an extremely venomous intestinal eel as an arrow. The alien assassin wields an organic saber, has two spikes on its back, four on its tail near the base, and spurs on the ends of its legs. The stomach is exposed with the same intestinal eels, slithering side to side. The alien also has a long neck guard and a helmet with a visor covering the face in shimmering blue colors./End]

A devoted marksman at heart and a loyal servant in mind, Hsergal executes enemies of the hive to ensure no target is left standing if not already taken care of. With his intestinal worms that he uses as arrows for his Bowne arm, he strikes down any key target ready for assassination.

Got bored, wanted to draw the non-binary rockstar from another world...

[IMG ID: An alien reptilian known as a Vinesian, pale-skinned, tall, and digitigrade, engages in pole dancing while wearing limited clothing: latex stocking, garter, arm warmers, a leather vest strap, a silver bracelet, a spiked collar, and a loincloth. The alien also bears red lipstick and makeup, and has feminine hair. Just behind them are two other alien performers dancing in hanging dance chandeliers and one on a dance pole. Colorful lights shine from different directions while a window outside shows a building displaying advertisements from a red and white armoured Vinesian ball racer skidding the dirt after making a score, a rental business with a deadpan slogan "Aesper Rental: Good luck finding someone cheaper", and a purple and white colored screensaver with hearts for the strip club for the dancers./End]
