Coffee drinkers: Get ready for higher coffee prices. Colombia 25% tariff goes up to 50% in a week. Coffee at $4 a pound could soon be $6 or more. Spend $3 at Dunkin or Starbucks? $4.50 soon. Colombia retaliated with their own tariff on US goods. More increases. So much for lower prices.

A guy posted about being apprehensive about turning right on red. I replied: Right on red is one of the greatest inventions of man. Even better is the little-known left turn on red. It is legal and a rare joy. When there’s a 1 way street & turning onto a 1 way, it’s legal. At least in NY it is.

Saw a commercial for Ontario, Canada this afternoon during a football game and don’t remember ever seeing that. I wonder if it’s Canada’s sort of preemptive strike, knowing that a tariff on Canadian goods is possible. Positive marketing before-the-fact.
