It looks like the fox or dog that got Cricky had a bit of a struggle but got away. Beren has a bite or scratch on his ear but the tell tale sign that he tried to fight it off are the blood spots on his shoulders. (Imagine a dog slapping a toy around.) Good try, Mr B.
