A whole year already... Turn it up today. The neighbours will understand... or they can learn to love Black Sabbath. 🤘🖤 “I couldn’t conform to a 9-to-5 job. Lasted about a month before I told them to go fuck themselves.” #ripozzy #ripozzyosbourne #ozzyosbourne #blacksabbath

I will never return to BP Pulse Arena. Fans work hard, pay a lot for tickets, travel, babysitters and these security pillocks ruin the event for people. What should have been a great night was marred.

Dave of Androzani @daveofandrozani.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

I managed to get both security members on my phone (video). I have followed both @defleppard.bsky.social and Extreme for years and have never had a problem. Ive been to hundreds of gigs and not had an issue. I wasn't the only one tonight. the fans were well behaved but some were treated like cattle

Dave of Androzani @daveofandrozani.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

The security were extremely rude and dismissive and had severe attitude problems. One then threatened to 'bend me in two'. At which point I told him I was restraint trained and that wouldnt be happening. He then tried to goad me into a physical...continued...

Dave of Androzani @daveofandrozani.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

The security were rude and over zealous. When they eventually let me back, the space was crowded and they kept hastling me to 'keep within the line' which was impossible. I couldn't enjoy the gig. I later asked security for their managers name. They refused. Why? Continued...

Saw @defleppard.bsky.social and Extreme at #bppulsearena Birmingham tonight. Both bands were awesome but I will never go back to that venue again. My mate had a medical emergency and i went to find him. I returned with a drink for him and they wouldn't let me access where we were originally stood...

28 Years Later - The Bone Temple. Just wow. I'm gobsmacked. One of the best British films of all time, easily. Not just a Zombie flick. Elements of Lord of the Flies, Cannibal Holocaust, Kes, Threads, Black Mirror, Children of Men, The Wicker Man, A Clockwork Orange, Midsommar... Instant classic.

Prague is quite gothic but more beautiful rather than spooky. Lots to do though.

The proud owner of a Mark Gatiss autographed photo. I didn't get to meet him though. I've always thought that I'd love to interview him or just have a cup of tea and a chat.

I was told by many that this film was a dud. I respectfully disagree, it think it's a masterpiece. I'm really looking forward to seeing The Bone Temple now. Superior apocalyptic drama with many layers and great cinematography.

I think you'll appreciate this as a drummer, I saw them live and I thought Clem Burke was one of the best I've ever seen/heard. He wasn't overtly flashy but just seemed rock solid. I remember his drumming on 'Atomic' being quite impressive live.

Parallel Lines is such a fantastic album because it mixes punk attitude with perfect pop and makes you want to jump around like Zebedee on Red Bull. Although it takes me right back to childhood it's DNA can be heard in loads of bands that came later, Garbage, Hole, Elastica, Transvision Vamp etc.

OK Music nerd hive mind. Someone has got to know what this song is? Only about 5 seconds of it and a crap recording. Sounds reggae, but maybe even The Clash or Elvis Costello or something?

The Haunting (1963) is on BBC2 at 23.00 tonight. I think it's one of the most genuinely creepy films of all time. It’s basically a masterclass in psychological torment, where the scariest special effect is your own brain filling in the gaps.
