This Pen Pal project is too cute 🥰

We have this theory that the stuff us adults loved as children, is what our pupils love just as much as us (they just don't always know, yet!) So, watch this space throughout 2026 as we go proper old-school & embrace good old-fashioned, wholesome activities. Suggestions welcome!

Thinking back to watching Pools with my Grandma - that pride, that belonging. Hard to see what the club’s been through, but feeling hopeful under the new owners. For her, and every loyal Poolie who’s stuck it out. Better days ahead. Come on Pools 💙🤍

Such a good night with all of the other Lancashire Mind ambassadors and all their fabulous staff. Really enjoyed our first session together at the Flower Bowl - excited to do my little bit to help nudge the mental health agenda in the right direction.

Still can't believe we pulled off a school trip to New York, this is blowing the kid's minds (although they're now a bit tired after 26,000 steps). Anything really is possible when you Dare To Dream. 🌟

Just had one of the most emotional days of my career. A school trip across the pond is a whole other level unlocked – jet lag, skyscrapers, new friendships & kids seeing a whole new world for the first time. Their faces said it all. This is what Dare to Dream is all about. 💙🌎

It might have taken a long drive through the night in the school minibuses to get there, but taking the kids to see the sights and make some memories in London was absolutely worth it. Can't beat a good school trip.

Found these bad boys hidden in a bag of stuff that has needed sorting for months and honestly think it may be better than finding a tenner.

Smashed my Apple Watch last week and turns out to be an absolute blessing - not missing the distracting notifications on my wrist and the feeling of being wired in to the grid.

After months of slowly weaning off anti-depressants & finally being off them (nobody talks about this bit & so much more), it feels like the right time to share that I’m now a proud Lancashire Mind Ambassador. Hope to use my voice to make a difference & help others. #ItsGoodToTalk

This working-class lad from Hartlepool got booked to speak in Brighton. Checking in, seeing the view & running on the prom felt a big deal (even rang me mam!) I love it & hopefully help/inspire those who attend- it helps our school budget too! If you need a speaker, let me know.

This is what school is all about. Not just lessons, but life. The chance to be part of something huge, to sing your heart out, to make memories that last forever. School trips like Young Voices aren’t extras - they’re essentials. This is childhood. This is education.
