Possibly generational. Poorest pensioner's, no assets or savings, lose some of future increases. Pensioner's with assets and savings can leave them untouched to their children. Why not flat rate tax relief on contributions. 71% of tax relief goes to higher tax payers. £14 billion saved.

Two observations. Dishonest language. They aren't adjusting the triple lock it's scrapped! It seems that the poorest pensioner's with no assets or savings are to be poorer than they would have been so those with assets and savings can pass them to children untouched by care costs. Socialism??

There is enough money in the system, 83 billion, to give in tax relief on pension contributions. Quotes that if triple lock lasts till 2070 it's crippling. Really! Who suggests that. So pensioner's with no assets or savings lose money so those who have can pass to children. That's Socialism! Joke!
