Poverty can damage health - leaving people unable to meet their basic living needs, such as adequate heating for the home, appropriate clothing or adequate nutrition.  People in poverty are more likely to report poor health. www.health.org.uk/evidence-hub...

Work-related mental health issues are a major concern. While musculoskeletal problems (eg back pain) have declined, mental health conditions linked to work have risen since the mid-2010s. Rates of work-related stress, anxiety, and depression remain above pre-pandemic levels.
