Feel like it’s been forever since I’ve caught the rivers this smooth in #pittsburgh and though the rocket launch got blocked by the clouds here this morning, this was a nice consolation. Just incredible views along the Allegheny.

It's back! The Ferris Wheel is back in #Pittsburgh and set up on the Clemente Bridge for Oktoberfest, and I couldn't pass up the chance to ride it on opening night. Such a fun and festive activity and a great use of the bridge!

So many film images to go through as of late, but I love how this one came out. The way the clouds are reflecting off of PPG Place in #pittsburgh almost look connected with the clouds in front, making for such an interesting view.

Last night was the 13th anniversary of the day that the Giant Rubber Duck arrived in #Pittsburgh, and honestly it was one of my favorite nights of photography. This was the only night that it wasn't parked by the fountain at the Point, creating some unique and fun images.

A scene from a few days ago in #Pittsburgh as the moon rose behind PPG Place. Luckily the clouds didn't venture too far into the sky and that allowed the moon to come out, just as the sunset reflected in the glass castle. I never tire of these views.

Been a little MIA lately, but the month of June was jam packed with the end of school/soccer season, vacation, and my day job (which is not photography). But I was out for last night's fireworks display in #Pittsburgh, and before the smoke took over the scenes were incredible!

It's a beautiful day for the #Pittsburgh marathon and I spent this morning capturing some scenes from Mt. Washington and the West End Bridge of the start of the race. Good luck to all the runners...no better feeling than crossing that finish line!

From Point State Park to the North Shore and downtown, there was just so much to do. The city did an amazing job getting ready for it and I had a great time, and everyone I spoke to seemed to enjoy it as well.

I spent most of the weekend covering and attending the NFL Draft in #Pittsburgh and man was it awesome. I got to go to the roof of the Steel Building for some images as well, and the view was incredible. Sharing some of my favorites here!

Downtown #Pittsburgh looks INCREDIBLE tonight as the Wyndham is lit up for the NFL Draft. I saw that they were going to be doing this on the news this week, but it looks so much cooler than I thought it would. I stopped by the West End and Mt. Washington this evening, and these are some favorites.

It was the first Pirates fireworks night of the year, and I decided on the Duquesne Incline to capture them from. The view was amazing with the fountain back on after being off for all of last year...just classic #Pittsburgh scenes.

What an absolutely ridiculous rainbow in #Pittsburgh this evening. One of the brightest that I have EVER seen, and it perfectly framed the city from the West End Overlook. I have a bunch to share, including one with mammatus clouds too. Talk about an amazing night.

The cherry blossoms on the North Shore of #Pittsburgh are in full bloom and looked amazing today when the sun rose above the bridges. I spent a couple hours capturing them, and can't wait to share more, including some film images. These are some early favorites.

Talk about a lightning strike. Tonight I caught what might be one of the tallest bolts I've ever shot in #Pittsburgh, where you can see the entire thing, even where it exited the cloud from. Absolutely amazing to see in person, and one of my new favorite storm images.

Yesterday morning some of the buildings in #Pittsburgh were lit up green for the St. Patrick’s Day parade and I captured some images of the moon rising along with the spring blossoms. The pink and green looked so cool together.

What a day today. Took a helicopter flight over the frozen rivers of #pittsburgh and the views were insane. I've taken winter flights before, but this one was definitely one of the coldest and most snow covered. Can't wait to go through the rest of the images but these are some early favorites.

What a day in #Pittsburgh today, as the city is in the middle of a storm getting more snow than we've had in over 15 years. I was out around 5:00 before the roads got really bad, and it was amazing to see the snow falling on the city. I'll have so many to share, but these are some early favorites.

Struck out on the Northern Lights in #pittsburgh last night but just after sunset today they sure put on a show. Absolutely amazing to see these over the city…they were so bright and visible to the naked eye. Can’t wait to share more.

Yesterdays's sunrise in #Pittsburgh was one of those two for the price of one type deals. At first there were high clouds over the city that caught some early morning color, but then more clouds moved in and the bottom edge of them looked like it was on fire.

Another insanely beautiful snowfall in #Pittsburgh last night, and these are two of my favorite images. A ew composition of the Horne's Tree framed by the bushes, and a reflection of the tree where you can actually see the reflection of the snowflakes as well. First time I've ever shot that!

This composition had eluded me for nearly a decade, but yesterday I was finally able to capture it. A train rolled through just as the Duquesne Incline was crossing over the tracks in #Pittsburgh, creating a picture perfect winter scene. It was worth the hours and hours I've waited over the years.

This morning in #Pittsburgh the SpaceX Falcon 9 launch was visible from the West End Overlook and it was incredible to see. The rocket and exhaust were illuminated by the rising sun just as it was centered over the city. My favorite rocket launch image to date.

Meant to post these last week! On Friday I had the opportunity to tour the new terminal at @pitairport.bsky.social and it was such an amazing experience. It’s so close to being complete, and I loved seeing how open it was. The ceiling is a work of art, and I can’t wait to travel when it’s all done.

The farthest away I was to #Pittsburgh to capture the moon was 12.4 miles, and last night I was just shy of that at 9 miles but it worked out perfectly. The moon rose right beside the Steel Building, making for an unbelievable composition.

A foggy start to the day in #Pittsburgh this morning, and the view from the West End was the perfect spot to capture it. The fog was actually rolling in from the east (it normally comes up the Ohio from the West), so it was cool to see a wall of fog behind town.

Flying home from Iceland last week I had the incredible opportunity to pass over Greenland. It was something that I never even thought of doing, but when I looked out the window it was like looking at an alien landscape. Just incredible to experience.
