I’m sure I’m not saying anything that hasn’t been said before, but there’s never a wrong time to talk to your kids that it’s not just about “being good” but also learning to stand up to peer pressure and friends when things are wrong and call them out, stop them, and/or report it.

I will never understand energy bill math. It costs $119 to deliver $88 worth of electricity and costs $32 to deliver $3 of gas?

Energy bill breaking up cost of supply used and cost of delivery. In this case the delivery charges are far more than the actual supply used.

Seems to be a growing trend on sites like Etsy where an item is listed at a low price (let's say $9.95 for a shirt, for example), then when you click on it, that $9.95 is actually for a "sold out PNG file" of that shirt (which also, huh?). Shirt itself will actually cost you something like $32.

Finally finished (at nearly 600 pages!) and it was fantastic. Absolutely fascinating read, warts and all, of the boy, the man, and the artist that would become the myth that was Orson Welles. Only goes up to the release of Citizen Kane but I highly recommend.

After two years of being an only-child, we tried introducing Winston, at 16, to this guy half his age (or younger). Did 2 days of a few minutes but yesterday pushed it too long with an hour+. Resulted in a huge catfight and had to revert back to an isolated room for the new guy. Back to square one.
