Think I’ll pop it on right now. It’s been too long!

The Jimi Hendrix experience album Axis: Bold as Love. Cover is a colourful picture of the band surrounded by Indian imagery. Including what I guess (due to my ignorance) are gods, human and animal in origin. All wearing golden bejewelled crowns, some breathing fire. The band appear to have multiple arms holding a variety of items from weapons to musical instruments. Above all this are 7 vipers heads and above that, and orange sun with pink and orange rays emitting in all directions.

In the early 2000’s my commute included walking past a record shop, it was dangerous for my bank account. As a result, 25 years later, I’m finding gems in my collection that I’ve always overlooked. Found this one yesterday 🤯.

If you happen upon any Mystic Brew vinyl from Fatcity Records, snap it up. It won’t disappoint. They’re compilation albums from the late 90’s onwards. Hiphop, reggae, funk and soul, new(back then) and old. This was their 2nd and introduced me to this gem in ‘98. #vinyl
