Less than two weeks before the trade paperback of IS TED OK? hits bookstores and comic shops! I'm thrilled to say that this six-issue series is one of the best-reviewed comics of the year. I wrote, drew, colored, and lettered this thing and it means the world to me. Are you getting a copy?

Rochester friends, this is SATURDAY 7PM and SUNDAY 2PM at Hochstein as part of the Fringe Festival. *And I didn’t name it—the images will be stationary, from my Miles Davis graphic novel, not animated—but it’ll still be great. Killer band.

I was very surprised to receive this Faculty Service Award for my work at The Hochstein School, here in Rochester. I’m so grateful to teach at such a great place. Feels good to be recognized. Gotta keep hustling!

Kiddo wrote his name yesterday. Turned 3 in July. Time flies. I wrote the bottom one and asked him to copy it. He’s been writing all of his letters but this is the first time he’s done the left-to-right of his name. Pretty awesome!

I’m hyped to see the new Spidey movie—no idea when I’ll get a chance to see it but it’s been fun to see so many positive reactions. I know it’s silly to get ANY feeling for a character owned by a megacorporation but, I can’t help it. Spider-Man is in my blood! 😵‍💫

It’s easier to be specific in smaller bits. The number of panels in this Bowie commission I made correspond to the number of measures in the piece, and the story illustrates the lyrics to SPACE ODDITY, with a few liberties!!
