One of the #InchcolmIsland Fulmars. Amazingly elegant fliers, playing with the wind along the wavecrests. They can't land for toffee, though 😂 This one had missed its nest and tumbled to the foot of the cliff, where it sat looking disgruntled until taking off for another try.

#superSeabirdSunday A couple of sandwich terns, I love the inky scribbles on the juvenile, and the male-pattern baldness on the late-season adult :)

A fairly standard Isle of May puffin-shot, but one of my favourites.

Full length portrait of a puffin. Vieewed from the front with a beak very full of little sandeels and its head cocked slightly to the side. The bright orange of its feet is reflected on its white belly.
