davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Finished the Axis gaffer and his selection of heavies for Konflikt today #Warlord 0101
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Took another crack at the Stahltruppen for Konflikt 47 today. Like this one a good bit better. Adding some paint to his underoos really helps #Warlord 2712
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I painted up a tester for my heavy Axis infantry today. It's missing something but we'll work it out #Warlord 0101
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I prefer Warlords approach to this sort of thing. "Sorry folks, there's been a production snafu, you won't get this for a while. Here's an army box with 36 bears in it that will make all your friends hate you, enjoy!" 050
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Sorry for all the photos but I can't take group shots to save my life. I finished the squad of veteran soviet troops for my Konflikt 47 army. I tried to think what veterans of a war where they had to fight zombies, British robots and warp capable Japanese fanatics would look like #Warlord 0131
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Painted a commissar for my Soviet Bloc army in Konflict 47 today. He brought his skull smasher to remind Yuri that he's actually perfectly ok with the order to charge that werewolf #Warlord 081
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Took a break from Genestealers to paint a Protoss Zealot from the start craft miniatures game last night. Brilliant models #Starcraft 0507
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I mean, if anyone is going to know a good story... 010
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Finished another of the Malstrain Genestealers yesterday #warhammer 0593
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 08/09/2026That's a great paint scheme for the dugs. They look superb 120

davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Thanks very much. These are the Malstrain Genestealers from Necromunda. They are brilliant kits 110
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Painted up a tester for the Malstrain Genestealers today. Gribbly little weirdos that they are #warhammer 318415
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Last of the Eschers done (for the time being at least) #Warhammer 0232
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 04/09/2026It's wall to wall drug dealing lady punk gangers on the painting table. One to go! #warhammer 1192
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Ganger a day, day 3. An Escher with some form of gunk gun #warhammer 1232
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 03/09/2026I really wish they had kept the whole vampire thing a secret during the advertising for Abigail. Would've been a fantastic twist 000
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Reacher continues to be the most ridiculous Mary Sue I've ever seen on TV. That's not to say I dont like the show but I am waiting on a problem to stump the man for even a second 000
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Yet another Escher done and dusted. A sniper this time #Warhammer 316412
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Managed to get two Eschers done today as it turns out. This is the doctor of the gang, appearing to for get her hippocratic oath pretty severely #warhammer 2663
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Painted up an Escher shotgunner today. Quite pleased with her #warhammer 36912
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 26/08/2026He's a grumpy old bugger and I think his latest output has been awful but you only have to look at the fact that Netflix are shooting films on the basis that the audience is on their phones more than they are actually watching to see that he might have a point. 200
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 22/08/2026Painted an Albion Cruiser from Dystopian wars today. Great looking mini but the build process is utterly appalling 0172
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 20/08/2026Most fun I've had with a dinosaur film for quite a while 120
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 20/08/2026Finished up my chaos knight lancer today. May have gone a bit too far in some places but it's chaos after all! #warhammer 1171
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 16/08/2026Quite a bold film really. You wouldn't get many Hollywood blockbusters willing to portray U.S air force chopper pilots with worse aim than a drunk stormtrooper 110
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 29/07/2026Got all three Screamers done pretty quickly #warhammer 0201
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 29/07/2026First of the Screamers done #Warhammer 010610
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 28/07/2026Slow progress but a few more Pink Horrors done. #Warhammer 051
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 24/07/2026Going to get some of the many, many abandoned 40k projects done over the next few weeks. First up is the Tzeentch demons #Warhammer 0211
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 24/07/2026I always wondered about those. I figured it was YouTube throwing them in at random but it's wild that a creator would choose to do that 010
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 19/07/2026Well that's true, eye of the beholder and all that but to me it was souless. 000
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 19/07/2026Oh no I liked the story fine. Pretty sure I had an audio version of it when I was young that I listened to quite a lot. I just thought this version of it was really flat. 100
davebass2.bsky.social @davebass2.bsky.social · 19/07/2026With the exception of the witch scene and the final monologue from Odysseus, it just fell a bit flat with me. Kinda souless. I don't see where the hype is coming from. However, I'm in the minority clearly 210
