It all started in 1567 but the story continues! Then refugees from religious persecution were welcomed in Southampton and granted St Julien’s Church to worship. This Sunday 3pm we’re holding the now annual service in French, Winkle Street so142ny. All welcome whatever.

St Julien’s Chapel in Winkle Street is a hidden jewel in Southampton rarely open to the public. But you are invited to see inside on 26 July at 3pm. Then the annual service in French takes place. All welcome whether you understand le français ou non

Just led a tour walk with a bunch of French teenagers . Tried my best and the kids were fine, but I remembered half way through how excruciatingly boring a tour is for teenagers when all they want to do is wander round the shops and try to buy cigarettes and booze.
