The piece has two layers, the top being a glowing set of ribbons depicting conscious action/change to the waking world. The lower layers shows a recursive pattern that falls away into infinity, but inversely creates a surface upon which these ribbons might dance.

Below is a further commentary on this concept.

“Entropy’s meaninglessness stirs eternally as our universal birthplace.

Any organization of any ‘thing’ within our universe must stand on meaninglessness’s shoulders in order to achieve whichever state beyond the foundation they seek.

Thus: Chaos is written into our every waking moment and action. Our bodies, our minds, our souls. Order itself is written in its totality with the language of chaos. The canvas and the pen.

Being born of nothingness, we are avatars of audacious defiance against the very thing we are composed of. Each breath, each step, is a miracle. Yet we push further than this, further and further, the universe is increasingly bent by the audacity of chaos to change itself into something new.

Remember that in every waking moment of your unique life, you send ripples through our chaotic world. You order it in a manner only you are able.

Feel under your feet, in your bones, the roiling potency of your birthright. Let it fill you with divine light, and step just that little bit further”

A sigil made in honor of PineappleTime. The sigil is broken into four sections.

The upper shape refers to the manner with which one’s unique ripple through life affects others both near and far, intentionally or not.

The center ‘squiggle’ refers to the unknowable well of energy Pineapple pulls from in order to facilitate effecting the world in their unique manner. Notably this is a rare line that crosses itself.

The far right shape refers to deliberate action. The rhombus being held from two sides, an example of how Pineapple affects someone directly, offering their energy to this shape. (The line with three short lines coming off of it nearby is evocative of the ‘offering’ motif in prior works).

Finally, the lower shape refers to one’s inner world. That which is hidden from sight, but intimately part of the whole in a foundational manner. No one knows what challenges are faced by even the brightest amongst us, as we all face our demons ultimately on our own. However, the trail of six dots connecting this shadow place to the place of intentionality, suggests the notion that what one learns in connecting with others might be brought down into that place. We are never truly alone.

The result of a fit of ‘creative mania’

The artist found themself afflicted by a moment of out of body existentialism, a sensation of being animated by a force much larger than their body could contain.

To render fate, or the universe’s hand, in a 2d medium is impossible. However, the result hopefully conveys the experience of the artist being a conduit of that vastness.

Human bodies/minds are machines; biological systems that exist based on the conditions of this reality. However, we exist within a sea of universal vastness that eclipses us with such effortless totality that our only recourse is to be ignorant or contort ourselves to commune any way we physically can. This is one such effort.

The artist’s rendition of their own soul, more specifically the way oneself tends to beautifully but incomprehensibly complicate once one begins to look past simplicity.

The center is a diamond, the artist’s motif for the self/soul. From here myriad shapes emerge in increasing complexity as one looks out from the center.

In the outer areas of the piece, the complexity wanes, and the piece is boxed in in a manner that frames the noise inside. Similar to how one might style themself, or present a facade.

Thus the piece becomes threefold: A simple exterior, chaotic unique complexity, and a simple interior. A person. The tyranny of self.

A blocky sigil made up of distinct regions. At the top is a sun-like shape signaling a powerful/influential tonality. The less organic shape to the sigil signals that the focus is on will, structure, or solidification.

The sigil’s invocation: [Volition], is seen in these primary features.

Furthermore, the inward turn beneath the sun is done then to conserve and redirectenergy into a hidden, or controlled, environment. Within this sheltered place, vast energies are stored. From this measured approach, influencing reality only where one can do so safely, [Volition] is maintained.

A personal sigil, created in honor of Sora

This shape invokes two primary principles, seen in the upper and lower regions.

Beginning with the lower region. This region represents the inner world, that which only Sora can ever know.

A flowing shape hooks/pulls inward, a driving line pushes further down into the dark, and most critically an ‘offering’ shape that resides closer to the surface that represents their self discovery.

The upper region utilizes an open hand to the left, which represents lives touched. The unknown multitudes that one's energy entwines with but then in turn is something one does not necessarily see. It is not in the core shape because it is an ethereal, invisible element.

The other half of the upper shape is that which one -do- know, those of found family and friends. The pack one runs with.

This rightward region has an extra flang along the center line that is similar to the ‘offering’ shape in the lower region. This explicitly refers to the way one's most core family supports each other. The give and the take.

An organic, abstract sigil with an animated but melancholic tone.

Humans operate on ancient hardware, our instincts guide our every thought, act, and emotion. Can we ever transcend our nature? Would doing so provide an existence that is more valuable than what we have experienced for countless generations?

The development of our culture, technology, and society has outstripped our biology at an exponential rate. When will it be too much for the average human to endure? The folly of man is to delude themself into believing they have transcended their roots, when indeed it is from these roots our entire being emerges.

Prometheus was punished by the gods for stealing fire and gifting it to man.

We have not separated from the natural world, we have simply bent what is natural to our will. All that we make, is nature.

The hand is decorated with various sigils, the lowest one meaning ‘seeking’. There is a vaguely eye shaped sign above this, flanked by meaningless smaller shapes.

Below each finger, at the knuckles, are individual sigils each representing a different way the artist has attempted to achieve contact with their own soul. Various artistic endeavors, physical competition, tactile skills, communion with nature, etc. This section could be expanded massively, but is kept to only five highly abstract sigils for brevity.

The sigils at the fingertips simply mean ‘connection’

The piece represents the artist’s struggle to make contact with their inner fire, their true strength. Perhaps there is no way to access this potency, perhaps it is something one only realizes they have achieved after a moment of truly transcendent focus or effort. The fire burns eternal, to touch it is to know clarity, and exquisite agony. Yet we reach, and reach again, for something we very well may never truly touch.

The sigil representing ‘seeking’ is underneath their eyes, ‘sight’ in the center of their forehead (though modified to indicate a lack thereof). There is a sort of halo behind them. They stand in an ethereal background.

Ecumene in reference to the ‘inhabited world’ or the land on which one lives permanently. A ‘core’ or ‘center’ of humanity. In this piece, the emphasis is on the body being the land on which the soul is bound indefinitely.
