Me too! He already has several times, thankfully. A family member just said this yesterday: “I think this might be Scooter’s last Christmas. He’s probably got a year or less to go.” My reply? “We said that last year…and the one before that.” 😆 Little dude still clearly wants to be here.

I do this now when I take candid shots without a photographer too, but especially when I’m in a public place and want to get a good shot for my work socials without disturbing the environment for others. Start the video, smile and hit a few angles, screenshot and edit later. #oursky 3/5

That pretty much ended future Goodwill shopping/donations from me. If I’m going to donate branded items, my goal is so someone on a budget can feel pretty/fancy for cheap. Not so the CEO of “Badwon’t” can make another $100K per year. It’s local DV shelters and smaller orgs for me from now on.

Exactly. I understand: it’s capitalism and they ARE a business, but it was donated. This was an actual charity shop and wasn’t near as marked up as Goodwill. I recently found out Goodwill filters any designer or brand names they get and resell it online, so it doesn’t even make its way to the store.

Check out the super dated carpet in this kitschy hotel I stayed in while nomading through BFE. The rest of this place was pretty oddball as well, as those type of spots often are. Despite the idiosyncratic atmosphere, they had a badass continental breakfast that rivaled Marriott & Hilton. #oursky
