Got my first Matter devices yesterday from Ikea and didn't expect to be able to use them immediately because I was missing the border router. Turns out, Nanoleaf got the hardware for it. That's really cool, just add to homeassistant, setup matter and add devices. Ez

Literally was paid by the grid to use power during sunday midday. Smart meters and renewables are pretty cool

Ah, gotta love implementing something only to find out it's deprecated. Was trying to use FinTS to initiate a bank transfer to my credit card to emulate a debit card process for Google Wallet since Paypal is dropping support to force you to use their app. Turns out my bank dropped all FinTS support.

RIP Csinos Began your life on the streets of spain as a stray and barely escaped being put down, but ended up with 10 beautiful years in a loving and caring family as a rescue. Now you may rest easy without your old age pains ❤️ 2016 left, 2026 right

Phew, latest endeavor was integrating our new cold water meter into the smart home by catching it's traffic with an esp32+cc1101 Took me a while to get working because the esp32cam module I used before introduced insane amounts of interference Pretty cool that radio meters are legally required

Why are people unhappy with the series finale of stranger things? It's a well rounded ending and overall a very enjoyable last season 🤔

Finally got a standing desk, Flexispot E7L, and I even found a way to integrate it into the smart home. Works amazing, simply an ESP32 with ESPHome on it that plugs into the auxiliary RJ45 port for the motor control. Now I can periodically raise and lower it during work hours, raise it mornings etc

Interesting. Bsky also lets you specify the post ID. There's posts on my profile with the ID "yiff", but you can't retrieve them for some reason. They do exist though because when trying to create it once more with the same ID, you get an error.

I wish I had a semi modern laptop so bad, but I only need it soo rarely there's no point in getting one so I'm still using an ancient 3GB RAM thing that I use to thin client into home. Some day I'll have my long awaited Framework 😭 On monday the charging cable caught fire while on the train, too.

Great 🫩 Telegram is going to integrate grok, the language model by xAI (Elon Musky Husky) deeply into it's Apps, to the point where, for example, you click on a Document and there'll be a "Summarize this" Option that feeds the file straight into a questionable model, which among other things
