Good morning, gamers! Finally was able to tear into Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave with Sneef this weekend! We are passing the controller back and forth playing the different paths. She’s playing Dietrich and Leda and I have Cai and Theodora. 🙂‍↕️ My favorite unit so far only about 4 chapters in? 🏹Peter

yo, the new From First To Last EP is literally the perfect modern screamo/post-hardcore release. It sounds like the good stuff from the mid 2000’s while also having the modern polish. 10/10, easily the best emo record of the year. My only gripe is that it is only an EP and not a full album.

Didn’t get around to showing this one off because I’ve been sick AF recently, but somehow not as sick as the official Mega Pidgeot shirt @sneeflin.bsky.social got me for my birthday! Owning one of the only official Pokemon Company pieces of merch for Mega Pidgeot feels awesome. 👏😤💯

Feeling pretty cool in my new shirt by @agzdegrey.bsky.social ! It was a one-day only purchase and I didn’t think I’d be able to get it, but my lovely wife @sneeflin.bsky.social surprised me with it for my birthday yesterday!!! 🥰

Had to really dig deep into my soul for this one. Really feel like there were a few very close runner-ups, but this list ended up feeling just right. The 9 games that shaped who I am. 👏😤💯

With the lack of Aerodactyl running amok in Champions recently, I have decided to resort to pure violence. 🙂‍↕️ Pushing the Mega Beedrill agenda this season, at least for now. 👏😤

Man, sometimes I just be thinking about how cool it would be for Nintendo to make a new Custom Robo game. Or at least put it on NSO GameCube. 🥺 But I do think the Switch 2 would be a great place to revive the franchise. Fantastic fast-paced multiplayer battle arena action. 👏

Sadly, Bsky refreshed while I was doing this and I lost who I saw originally did this, but it was a fun make! Also, I woulda put Xenogears for the Xenoblade section, but I figured I’d play nice. 🫡

Spent some time thinking about “if Pokemon were real, which ones would I realistically be able to and want to catch around where I live?” This is the most realistic team I could think of without pulling any starters, legendaries, mythicals, Ultra Beasts or Paradoxes. 🙂‍↕️ Tried to keep it super fair.

I’ve come to a terrible impasse… Do I cook up the Pokemon Champions team I’ve been drafting on my phone all week and actually climb the ladder? Or do I log into FFXIV and level some of my unfinished classes? 🤔

Screaming because Joshua Waters is voicing Male Eshmel in FE Fortune’s Weave 🫪😱🥹 I have been a huge fan of his VA work since he was the English VA for Phainon in Honkai Star Rail and recently also was Qifrey in the English Dub of Witch Hat Atelier! Dude has a way with voicing White Haired badasses

Yeah, this is the life. 👏🙂‍↕️ FFXIV Online anywhere I go is kinda crazy with it. Like, yeah, I could also do this on Steam Deck. But Steam Deck is bigger, clunkier, and surprisingly runs FFXIV worse than Switch 2! This system is such a low budget miracle worker in the current gaming economy. 💯😤

I love that Fire Emblem almost always has a new take on “Together, We Ride!” It’s easily my favorite Fire Emblem track of every title… most likely in part that Blazing Blade was my first FE game and the fact it was a big FE song for Super Smash Bros Melee and onward. 👏😤❤️

Good morning gamers! Apologies for being MIA a good portion of the past few days! 🙂‍↕️ We’ve been so busy with settling into the new house that I haven’t had too much to game and/or chat! 🫪 You better believe I’ll be on FFXIV on Switch 2 tomorrow tho! 👏😤💯

It’s actually kinda hard to believe this real, even with it right in front of me. The Switch 2 really is a special system, gamers. 🥹 If you have preordered FFXIV on Switch 2, it’s already pre-loadable! Just make sure you have the space… it’s 108GB! #ffxiv #switch2 #gaming #gamers

Definitely have hit plenty of rough times post 2010. It comes in waves though, as there have also been plenty of amazing titles to come out of “modern” gaming. Though I do agree, they don’t make them like they used to no more. 👏🙂‍↕️

It’s crazy how much the Switch 2 is making it feel like the 90s again. All in the Top 10 Best Sellers on Switch 2 e-Shop: - Star Fox - Final Fantasy 7 (twice!) - Digimon - Mario Kart - Legend of Zelda - Pokemon - Donkey Kong I know gaming is kinda bleak atm, but it is nice to see this regardless.🙂‍↕️

Best Sellers section on Switch 2 eShop as of 7/6/2026 with Starfox, Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth, Digimon Time Stranger, Mario Kart World, Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, Pokemon Pokopia, Cyberpunk 2077 and Donkey Kong Bananza

also, probably one of the coolest moments from when I used to do music: Silverstein had listened to some of my solo work and complemented me. Was able to chat with them a bit on ye olde bird app back in the day.
