I’m not talking about the border passport inspections. They took like 2 mins on either side. The simple fact is that on the French side it all went like clockwork and we were onto the train and away in minutes and on the English side it seemed to be an omnishambles that took hours.

On my journey to UK this summer to see relatives, the french side of the channel tunnel was like clockwork, but the return at Folkstone was a shitshow and we were over an hour and a half delayed. I think the problem is you guys, not the EU

As a European, I get a little sickened by Americans treating war like a video game. Its always somewhere else, and its just something that happens on TV. There are very few domestic consequences for US actions. Europe will have to deal with the refugees this war generates for a decade now.

I've just recently bought a CD player and put all my old CDs back on the shelf. Its been quite a revelation listening to old albums, and learning "whatever happened to <artist>?" Often this would make me discover albums created by offshoots of bands that had split up. Its been interesting.
