Used office chair without arms. I found it at an outlet that bought and resold state government office chairs. I checked for working hydraulic adjustments. Picked one worked but had a horrible stain. I took it home for next to nothing and successfully cleaned the stain. Else I’d have recovered it.

Also—I purchased the GE Design ‘Astrid’ pattern at a discount on Black Friday and plan to make a stained glass quilt with it soon.

So true. Quilts using batiks fabric and black sashing look like stained glass and quilters take inspiration from stained glass works. A great intersection of hobbies❣️

I have a wait and see approach to this—the story is they were in financial trouble and reached out for help. I think both Kaufman Fabrics and Missouri Star Quilt Company have done a lot for quilters. I buy from them and other large retailers as well as local quilt shops and small Etsy shops.

You definitely should. Those rulers are quilty life changing!!! I actually ENJOY cutting now. All I need is my trusty rotary cutter, a fresh blade, some lovely fabric, and one of my three stripology rulers. Yep—I started with the xl (and why not?!) and ended up buying more cause they are great.
