iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Why is taking glass to the recycling bins so humiliating 😭 Why does the entire neighbourhood and their mum need to hear me being a law-abiding citizen and recycling my glass.

How about a better 2fa implementation than email?

no! If it is ruined due to a little bit of awkwardness the friendship was never meant to be. 🙇‍♀️

The only exception was one weekend morning when I woke up shortly before my apps were automatically unlocked for the day, so I just waited in bed until they were free again 😭 but as soon as I saw my screen turn back to colour, I got up and started my day, so I guess that's still a win.

One month later update on my NFC doomscrolling token: It actually works really well 🥹 I tweaked it a little, but my morning screen time is back down to about where it was before i got sick

I only chose it because it's a fast recipe :)

I have a year pass connected to my name, so even if there is an issue, they can just look it up in their system.

Making dinner is so much easier when I already know what I want to eat. The real challenge is deciding what I want to eat.

Great I guess, from what I noticed everybody had a ticket

Public transport here works on the trust system. I've been using it almost daily for years, but today was the first ticket check in 2 years 😭

I believe software engineering is also process optimisation. I had people say "in the old programm I had 3 buttons and those are missing.". But instead of implementing these 3 buttons, one was enough, because they never used the results of the first two buttons, but they were needed for the 3. one.

One of the first things I do when someone shows me a problem is ask "what did you expect to happen?" Sometimes the answer is surprisingly different from what I thought they were asking for 😭

It's not looking too good for my fingers this week ngl😭 It's on the other hand and only a tiny bit of the skin got caught between the switch and the joy-con.

Nadin 🩷 @dasnadii.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

I don't know HOW i managed this, but I somehow nicked my finger while snapping the joy-cons back onto my switch 😭

Feel that, I recently had a discussion with a friend, but we couldn't find a concrete answer, is there an alternate phrasing? 🤔 We heard main and sub.

110 0

Nadin 🩷 @dasnadii.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

I call the main branch “main” 99% of the time, but every now and then an old habit slips through and I still call it “master” 😭 I fully support using “main”, but years of using the old terminology definitely shaped my developer vocabulary.

They are all copying each other, same thing happend when everybody was adding short from videos into their plattform (even snapchat). But I have to admit, even though I was against it at first, I do enjoy the games on LinkedIn, those are my guilty pleasure 😭
