I am saddened to learn that one of the greatest cycling sprinters to have lived left us in 2024. I was lucky enough to meet him. He took me out and did a flying 200, and I tried to hang on. He was a quality athlete and a good guy.

CALFIRE and associated contractors are working to protect a large portion of Ramona California as I write this. The coordinated air and ground operations are impressive. The Men and Women of CALFIRE are saving my house as best they can. These folks are real, live heroes. CALFIRE ROCKS!

Trump became President in 2017 and visited me at my Grand Jamboree. He gave me a big hug. Then he forced me to get involved in politics whether I liked it or not. He forced himself and his goons on me. It killed me, literally. The Boy Scouts of America have never really recovered.

I have been reflecting on my career as a soldier. I have always felt that people looked at me like I went into service at 18 as if I were drafted. I volunteered, and I fought willingly. I am very highly trained. I am a Military Scientist and I am keenly aware of what is up. Be cool, but ready!
