Need to make a ribbon that says “not nearly as racist as a show from the 80s could be” for gundam ZZ

It is now February 27th in Japan. On this day, 29 years ago, Pokémon Red & Green were released in Japan and the franchise began. Happy Birthday Pokémon! #PokemonDay

It really does! Which makes sense since it’s such an over the top kit lol

RG Hi-Nu Gundam [Titanium Finish]. This kit is a chonky beast and kind of weird to pose. I think it looks better in person than on camera, but that might be due to me still getting used to the 85mm macro lens. Also the holographic decals dont really show up on camera, which is disappointing. Oh well

Finished watching Zeta Gundam. Man what a wild ride. Plot developments were well foreshadowed, every new development felt earned. I might type up more detailed thoughts later but I kinda have to sit with the finale.

Gonna be starting the Gundam base hi nu titanium finish gunpla. I bought holo decals from newtype and they look so cool in person. I’m gonna end up using damn near the entire sheet, this build is gonna take me a month

On the one hand, I get it. Having higher quality tools means you enjoy using them more since the work becomes easier. But if a beginner is just seeing if they even like the hobby, there’s no reason for them to spend $70 on godhand nippers. I upgraded my stuff quickly but that’s not everyone

HG 1/144 ZAKUⅡ F TYPE　SOLARI (RFV) vs HG 1/144 GUNDAM EX (RFV) Very fun couple of builds. The amount of molded detail in both compelled me to try using pour type panel liners and I was uuhh very messy about it

I used to hate reading dense work and doing actual literary analysis, but now (mostly thanks to my wife) my understanding of writing is way better. Using this shortcut that doesn’t even work most of the time is going to tank people’s comprehension ability. Scary stuff tbh

Personally Im still learning how best to clean up the lines but the process of actually inking the lines is super simple. So far I’m using 90% rubbing alcohol and going through a million q tips and it’s going ok. The failed experiment on the MkII was black ink not showing up on the black plastic lol

HG 1/144 THE GUNDAM BASE LIMITED GUNDAM Mk-Ⅱ (TITANS)(21st CENTURY REAL TYPE Ver.) Picked this up from the pBandai sale of the tour leftovers. This is a real simple and solid kit. I put some water slide decals on it after a failed experiment with pour type marker panel lining. #gunpla #ガンプラ

Santa’s sleigh is missing a green navigation light to go with Rudolph’s nose, and thus is not FAA compliant. Air traffic control should ground his craft if they’re serious about maintaining safe airways
