Happy to share the blog about our new article, "The Relationship Between Welfare and Capital Controls," co-authored with Martino Comelli, published in Social Policy & Administration. The paper also received the Best Paper Prize from the PEWS Standing Group at the @ecpr.bsky.social Conference 2025.

The transition to the new academic year was so hectic that I forgot to report that @kovarek.bsky.social and I have been awarded a @britishacademy.bsky.social @leverhulme.ac.uk Small Research Grant. Focusing on #Hungary, we will explore how populist frames shape the support for financial nationalism.
