Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 12hThe Dash are close. You see it pretty much every game. They need a bit more firepower or a bit more time to grow, but they are close. They can't compete with the super teams, but this squad is not destined for elimination next season. Give them a boost and look out. 000

Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 22hWow. That was a hell of a game. Both my teams brought incredible energy. Five goals, a lot of craziness, many firsts, and at least one "Holy Fuck" from Queen Trin. Insanity 020

Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 22hThis is a fantastic game. My two teams battling it out and nearly killing me And also why can't the Spirit play like this at home? 010

Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 23hDash are shooting like they don't expect to get another chance Spirit are not shooting like that Likewise Dash are defending like they're down and Spirit are not 010
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 23hThat was magnificent. A normal goal from Cantore! Another Trin assist 000
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 23hIt's fair to say the Spirit defense was not taking the threat seriously in the moment or they would have cleared that. Two Spirit players elected to try to play out of the back up the middle rather than do literally anything safe. That's overconfidence. Let's hope they're done playing like that. 010
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 23h15 shots so far in the first half. And yet only 1 goal We can do better than this 000
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 23hWoah. That was some bad defending by the Spirit. Just refused to clear the ball. And a hell of a shot by Ivanovic 000
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 23hHouston just isn't marking close anywhere except in the box, and this is giving the Spirit lots of passing opportunities. 000
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Hal Hershfelt is a one player overload all by herself when they play her off-center. Now that Andi's building up strength to be more central, this is a great power move. 010
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I hate seeing the Spirit do this to my Dash. But damnit it's necessary Keep it up Spirits. 000
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 05/10/2026If you had read Green Line Soccer you would be prepared for this. Subscribe to Jason's newsletter. It's prescient. 010

Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 05/10/2026It is NOT going to be easy to rack up multiple goals against Houston if Jane is on. 010
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I am so proud of myself for noticing this before the pro had to point it out. 000
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Come on Spirits. Nothing is written. Grab that crayon and mark up the fuckin' walls. Yes I am looking at you Hal. 000
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Another very good article from Jason. Good, frank analysis of what's going on with the Spirit. 010
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 03/10/2026All is not right in Spirit land 😔 But on net, I think we are actually stronger than we were at the end of our strong mid season run We have lost some key players to injury and departure, but we have added a lot of talent So, the challenge now is to heal and gel. We have 4 games to do that We can 010
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 01/10/2026My amateur take is that the #Astros need a better catcher. Pitchers don't pitch well for Yainer, and he doesn't throw out runners. His hitting is not good enough to have him behind the plate dragging down our pitching staff. Replace 1 catcher, improve several pitchers. 041
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 01/10/2026#Astros pitcher Peter Lambert: I don't know why Hunter's so upset. I got nothing planned this weekend, so I figured I'd just come out here and pitch a few innings. Like how often am I gonna get to pitch in the playoffs? (Hunter did have plans for the weekend) /satire 020
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I would like to bid on a faux commercial where @hccarter.bsky.social does "The Most Interesting Woman In The World" "I don't often drink cocktails, but when I do, I drink margaritas. Stay thirsty my friends." What will this cost me? 100
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Who's gonna get an #Astros jersey with "Welp" on the back as the player's name? 141
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 30/09/2026So, @andre-carlisle.bsky.social had some smart and thoughtful things to say about my other team (Dash) on the @heyspirits.bsky.social pod. I appreciate that. Usually I don't know who to root for in these Dash-Spirit match ups. But this time, oh yes, I need the Spirit to dominate. 020
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Ashley Sanchez is an amazing player and she absolutely deserves the call up for her scoring run in the NWSL. But NWSL golden boot leader does not necessarily translate into USWNT scoring (Hi Lynn). Against Spain, even moreso. 120
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Justin Verlander, living a macho fantasy life, ugly crying on TV. Masculinity is not toxic. It's good. It's beautiful. Be good. Compete. Be a brother to your teammates and your fellow athletes. Have strong feelings. Care about things. Be kind. Cry when you're up in your feelings. This is the way. 010
Paul @dashfanirl.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I got my 2027 Spirit season tix today 😁 Let's hope they play better at home next season. It's been a wee bit tough at times 020
