One of the cool things about having kids is sharing stuff I like: books, musics, movies, tv shows, video games, sports, you name it… Another cool thing is when they share stuff with me. The kind I would never have tried if not for them. 1/4

An original illustration recreating a scene from the Glee TV show - season 2, episode 1 - but featuring my daughter and I.
My daughter is behind me, looking at the observer and singing very loudly in my right ear "K-kinda busy" while I'm a bit uncomfortable with a forced smile side-eyeing her.

I heard it's #PortfolioDay -ish… I'm not that much on social media - missing events like this - but I'm definitely behind my drawing board working on your next project (comics pages, comics and book covers, illustrated books, pin-up, etc). Just have a look: das-art.com/my-work/ & contact me! 😉

A page of comics with 3 panels.
In each panel an humanoid cat with one arm is surrounded and fighting against zombies with a katana, cutting them in half.

A painted cover for Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. The monster, sad, is right behind the doctor, afraid. They're both enlightened by lightning in the dark sky.

A comics page with 5 panels.
1st, a hand is holding a phone ringing.
2nd, the hand thrown the phone through a window.
3rd, a man jumps through the same window, falling right behind his phone.
4th, the man hit water instead of the pavement.
5th, the man's head is out the water. He seems confused.

An illustration of a young girl from pre-history in a cave. She's using a torch to look at wall painting. She's followed by a young wolf kindly looking at her.

Yesterday's sketch was a quick reaction but today, I took a bit more time to create a finished version. Feel free to share it with your now ex-friends who "don't really see the problem" or find shitty excuses.

An illustration depicting El0n Mu5k performing a Nazi salute at the US president's inauguration, inside a Captcha image. The legend says "Select all squares with Nazi. If you see none, click I am a piece of shit". Under the image, there is an "I am a piece of shit" button.

[History Tuesday] No later than this weekend, I was telling my daughters about our family, how a part of them died in extermination camps during WWII (they were Jewish) while another part fought Nazis either as soldiers or as active members of the French Resistance. (1/6)

I'm done with this Illustration and there will be quite some time before I can give you more context about it… Until then, feel free to say what you think about it, ask questions or even tell me how your day was. And like, share, save, whatsoever; while I overthink my usage of social media…

I really should try to follow my own advice for once since the platform I mainly use starts to stink too…

Finally done with the illustrations of the Antony and Cleopatra book cover. I also rewrote the plot, my way. I'm really lucky to have daughters who accept my weirdness and allow me to make this kind of funny artwork (remember, this book will be used in class, it won't just sit on a shelf at home).

A few months ago, I got the opportunity to illustrate the December bookmarks for Archonia - an EU online comics shop. They give free bookmark with every order - I have 30-ish of them - so I was happy they asked. I went with my favourite OC: Red. She's from a book I've done four or five years ago.

Do you know Antony and Clëauwreigh? My oldest daughter is studying Antony and Cleopatra (the play) and her book cover is just a big old wiggly sticky animal which I can't bear the view. I told her I would appreciate it if the book cover was hidden and she suggested I could make a new cover instead.

Moving from the Big Bad Blue Bird and trying to find the people I used to follow there here takes quite some time… A bit more than expected…

Hi there! Looks like it's #introduction time! I'm an illustrator, comic book artist and all the stuff in my bio, who likes telling stories (in English et en français). I'm also a human artist for hire and bad at social thingies so I leave you with my little thread about pro artists… 1/3

A man seated in front of a woman, is holding a bottle and says: "I'm gonna get some more tea…" (1/9)

The man leave the room, the woman stays, sitting in front of a table with a case on it. (2/9)

The woman wants to take a look at what's inside the case and starts to slowly opening it. (3/9)
