Day 28 of 30 I love that he has absolutely zero toxic masculinity. He is comfortable being kind, comfortable being vulnerable. He is capable of talking about his feelings. He is comfortable going to therapy because our marriage matters to him and he believes it's worth taking care of. And he is HOT.

Day 20 of 30. We've spent an awful lot of our marriage in a car together. Road trips. Errands. Vacations. Long drives with nowhere particularly important to be. Without question, he is my favourite travel companion. We've had some of our best conversations and worst fights in the car.

Day 18 of 30. One of the most important things Gil ever introduced me to was D&D. He introduced me to a game. That game introduced me to the people. And the people became our chosen family. We've had SO many adventures together. We've rolled an absolutely unreasonable number of dice.

Day 14 of 30. I can't talk about family without talking about my father-in-law. Without a bit of hyperbole, he was one of my favourite people to ever live. I loved him. I still love him. We were very close. Losing him is one of the hardest things Gil and I have ever had to go through together.

Day 13 of 30. Gil has one sister. I have two brothers and a sister. And somehow, all of us ended up liking each other. My brothers adore my husband, one of the reasons I knew I wanted to join Gil's family was because I loved his sister. Marriage gave us each other, but it also gave us our family.

Day 12 of 30. Our trip of a lifetime. Ireland was magical from the moment we got there. But my favourite memories aren't the places. They're the people we met. The friends we met on a Jugger pitch. It was history and adventure and friendship and discovery all tangled together.

Day 11 of 30. Cuba. ❤️ This trip was just… AMAZING. We slept. We ate. We played in the ocean. We slept some more. We ate some more. Just the two of us enjoying being somewhere beautiful together. And then there was the dolphin. Because apparently Gil is irresistible to dolphins.

Day 10 of 30. Our first trip to Las Vegas. In August. Gil mostly worked. I mostly shopped. We ate some of the best food we've ever had. I had my first gallbladder attack. And Gil's phone died. So, you know… a perfectly normal vacation. 😂

Day 9 of 30. Our first vacation together. We headed to New Brunswick to visit Gil's parents, and somewhere in those few days we took a day trip to Fundy National Park. And I think that's when I started to realize how much I loved travelling with him.
