Yes there’s a few pubs just off O’Connell Street that I like -The Oval -Flowing Tide -Confession Box All within five mins of each other and twenty mins walk to Croke Park. Photo from the Flowing Tide I don’t go to Croke Park much so others might suggest bars near it? Plenty of them though

Just saw this. If you don’t have tickets for the Arseblog show tonight, go see the trophy.

I won’t be doing it myself unfortunately! I have commitments until game times. If you’re solo, then the River Bar where the Dublin Arsenal Supporters Club meet would be a good spot to meet other Gooners.

@adrianjclarke.bsky.social just listened to Handbrake Off. Where is your event in Dublin on Tuesday? See my post yesterday for best pubs in Dublin along the route from the city to the stadium.

Yeah that’s a good one. Walk 10 mins to O’Briens, lovely bar. The Old Spot is a good pub for food.

Absolutely. Bowes is worth it for their whiskey selection alone but I picked places that could handle a bit of a crowd or overspill onto the street. Bowes could be a good place to go after the match since it’s on one of the routes back from the stadium. Or in Tuesday night. Try to get the snug.

What a bar! I’ve spent plenty of time there. It would be a good stop on the way to the stadium if you’re staying near Camden Street or along the canal.

Agreed. All great spots. Camden street for late night is a good shout.

There is a European game in Dublin on Tuesday night. Shamrock Rovers v KF Egnatia in a Europa League Qualifer. The stadium is a good one and easy to get to. 30 mins from the city by Luas tram.

5. Slattery's Next to the stadium on a big corner with a few bars. Great spot for pregame build up, songs and crowd watching. Here's the map maps.app.goo.gl/Ts1xh3ZJSvHQ...

4.Toners. Est 1734. It looks small from outside, but it's a classic old Dublin bar up front with the huge Toner's Yard behind it. 5.The Storyteller Closer to the stadium. 15 minute walk from Toners or jump in a taxi.

1. Palace Bar At the edge of Temple Bar, it is a great pub and a central meeting point. 2. Kehoes Maybe the finest pint of Guinness in Dublin. Classic old Dublin bar. 3. O'Donoghues Famous for its Irish music, there won't be any during the day, but its alley outdoor space is a good spot. 2/4

Coming to Dublin for the Arsenal game this week? This pub tour will bring you to some of Dublin's best bars on the 30 min walk from town to the Aviva stadium. Let's talk Temple Bar first. It's a tourist area where Dubliners very rarely go. Think Covent Garden. My pubs are much better. 1/4

An absolute abomination. Hopefully the Argentinian fans are singing through it all and drowning it out.

Utter corruption and there’s going to be a lot of new Belgian fans tomorrow. How do we end up with these people in charge.

Walking past the Aviva Stadium this morning, two months until The Arsenal play here. Will be enjoying the no VAR League of Ireland in the meantime. C’mon the Saints.

It's a cross border thing, I support Arsenal because of Pat Jennings. Saw his statue in Newry last year.

“You know the story: in the 1970s, Liam Brady, Frank Stapleton and David O’Leary came to play for the club. All of this conspired to make the club very popular, particularly with the young middle classes in Dublin.” www.irishtimes.com/opinion/2026...

I was walking around a small town in the west of Ireland last night when I saw this house. I stopped and talked to the owner. I asked how she came to support Arsenal and turns out that she used to work in the Gunners Bar.

At half time in the game, I went for a walk on the beach. Got home right at the final whistle. The heart couldn’t handle it. COYG

Just need the photo of Pat Jenning's statue from Newry now too. He's why I support Arsenal. Shocking to think if I was a few years older, I could be supporting that other lot.

Yeah was thinking same watching on tv. Very loud. Although not a fan of the we’re gonna win the league song. Way too early. Can imagine Pep showing that to the players.

4th ref on sideline should be one the writing the names down with cards. Refs take so much time over it. Just flash the yellow card and keep game moving.
