Maybe because we see it on a daily fucking basis?? I remember when the Columbine school shooting happened. It was horrific. The entire country *mourned* for weeks. Nowadays, school shootings are on a weekly basis. We’re still upset about it. Definitely. We’re desensitized, mad, and oh so tired.

Alien:Earth is WAY better than it has any right to be. For a series it plays like a movie. Leans heavily on the same tech and styling from the late 70s and it builds up to little pockets of horror, becoming more and more frequent as it goes on. It’s been a long time since I’ve been THIS invested!

⚡️FLASHING LIGHTS WARNING. We’ve got a really nice lightning storm here in Albuquerque so I recorded it in slomo. I edited about twelve minutes of footage down to one minute and got some really nice bolts of lightning in the sky.

I made a new thing. It started its life as a telescope case but it’s a bit tight so now it’s a fancy pencil case! I hand tooled all details. The stitching was pretty hard to do especially on the cap. #leathercraft #art
